Help Paint the Little Bridge!

The Little Bridge along Henderson Street in South Park crosses SR-99. The bridge is an important connection for the community including school children and their families crossing to attend Concord Elementary School.


Feet First has partnered with SeaMar and Concord Elementary to replace the fencing and paint the bridge.  We have hired a local artist and are working with the community to create a wonderful, new walking area for community.

Be a part of our community effort to make this bridge beautiful! Snacks and beverages will be provided. Bring your whole family! Painting parties are happening at the bridge on the following days:

Monday, August 30th through Friday, September 3rd from 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturday, September 4th from 9:00am - 2:00pm.

GRAND OPENING of the Little Bridge
Friday, September 10th from 5:30 to 6:15
Meet at the bridge (S. Henderson and SR99, between 8th & 10th Avenues South)

Little Bridge is in the news!
This project is made possible through the Seattle Foundation's Neighbor-to-Neighbor fund, National Safe Routes to School which are supplying paint and other supplies and a grant from Seattle Department of Transportation will replace the rusty fence.

Several donations from local South Park Businesses: Ferguson Construction, Commercial Fence Corp., Arkadia Woodworking, and Boyer Logistics our supporting the project.
