Television Interview on Walkability
San Diego PBS affiliate asks us about walkability...

While at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Active Living Research annual conference, Executive Director David Levinger was asked to appear on San Diego's KPBS. The conference attracted researchers, planners, and policy advisors struggling to understand and counter the international physical inactivity epidemic.

The trip also included participation in a pre-conference meeting of the Physical Activity Policy Research Network entitled "Defining a Physical Activity Environmental and Policy Research Agenda: Obtaining the Perspectives of Practitioners and Researchers". 25 participants culled through a list of over one hundred policy statements and identified critical methods and strategies for advancing this work.
