American Volkssport Association is sponsoring a 5 km and 10 km walks in the Delridge neighborhood on August 23rd.
The American Volkssport Association is sponsoring a walk in the Delridge Neighborhood. This is an urban hike for people to enjoy Seattle's beauty, meet other community members and urban hikers, get acquainted with Delridge, and get a healthy hike in.
The 10 km course will take you along the Longfellow Creek Trail, up to its Dragonfly Pavilion, over to the Pigeon Point neighborhood and South Seattle Community College's Arboretum, and back down through the Longfellow Creek valley. This route is not suitable for strollers.
The 5 km course will take you along the Longfellow Creek Trail, up to its Dragonfly Pavilion, over to the Pigeon Point neighborhood, and back down to Youngstown. This route is suitable for strollers.
This event is free and open to the public with registration in the morning. There will be water and restrooms provided for the occasion.
