A day to celebrate public space and reclaim it from vehicle parking
Make a park, host a park, play in a park, walk by a park.
Today is a day when parks materialize all over the world. Citizens, communities, artists and organizations collaborate to temporarily transform parking spots into "PARK(ing)" spaces.....or in other words temporary public parks.
In 2008 Seattle hosted 32 PARK(ing) spaces.
