Why Feet First likes Chickens
| We want to change culture. To succeed at this, volunteers and staff try
to help people get a new perspective on their surroundings. The chicken is our prototypical hero and sweet creature who just wants to get across the street. We have experienced that even people with hard shells find themselves softening in the presence of the chicken. The chicken is a media maven. It has a message that everyone can relate to. This is probably the earliest riddle that anyone learns: "Why did the chicken cross the road?" At Feet First, we answer this question, "To change the world for the better."
